Former gallery of artist Leo J LeBlanc of Ivory Lion Studio. Account scrubbed to stand against having my work stolen for the use of AI generated images. I can live alongside AI, it has a use, but I will not stand to have my work stolen for the intent of trying to replace me. My style is my own, developed after many years of iteration, and so to have cheap copies of my art used to replace the artist himself is insulting. Not only has AI generated content flooded this platform, making it difficult to find legitimate artists, DeviantArt has chosen to only protect your art from AI data mining ONLY if you pay them. That's just dirty, and clearly says a lot about what they think of the people who actually made the platform a place to visit. Goodbye DA, been a good run.

I'm leaving DA. After a good long run I just can't stand just how invasive AI generated art is on this platform, even with it set to suppress AI mode. What's most offensive of all is making AI protection for my art a feature that expires unless with a paid account, meaning theft is only protected against unless you pay. That sounds like a mafia style racket, I can't in good conscience go along with this. This doubling down on AI on this platform doesn't make me want to pay the problems away, but leave with my dignity. Knowing the history of this platform I fully expect this new AI-based direction to never change, and it would be a fool's errand to expect anything different. Goodbye DA, it's been a good run.
